About the role

You join our engineering team as an AI Engineer with strong programming skills. You own complete components, from design to production, and you work in a small team close to the product decisions. You build and run the production services behind Jemm Arc. In this role, you will:

• Build and maintain production services for agent orchestration, memory, and device integration.
• Build and operate the data infrastructure behind the AI stack: Redis, time-series, vector, and graph databases.
• Integrate LLM inference into the production services.
• Take each feature from design to a tested, deployed, and monitored service.
• Create and improve the CI/CD pipelines and the developer workflow.
• Write clear design documents for the components you own.

Requirements

• You have strong programming skills in any language and you understand production code: concurrency, services, and tests.
• You know the fundamentals of software and systems engineering: APIs, data stores, messaging, and observability.
• You have machine learning experience or knowledge, and you understand how large language models work, from training to inference.
• You understand how AI agents work: orchestration, workflows, tool calls, and memory.
• You use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenCode, or Cursor in your daily work.
• You have experience with Redis, SQL, vector, and graph databases.
• You build CI/CD pipelines, for example with Git actions.
• You know how to integrate LLM inference into a production system.
• You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or you have equivalent work experience.

Compensation and benefits

Base salary: $130,000 per year.
