Jemm Tec LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we process information in connection with Jemm Arc, our websites, including jemm.ai, our mobile applications, and our hosted AI inference and API services.
Different services process information in different ways. Jemm Arc processes local device information as described below. Our hosted inference services process information submitted to our servers, including requests routed to us through OpenRouter. Our zero-retention commitments for hosted API content are described in Section 3.
By accessing or using our services, you signify that you have read, understood and agree to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
1. Jemm Arc and the Local AI Guarantee
Unlike mass-market smart home assistants that stream your conversations and routines to corporate cloud servers, Jemm Arc is powered by local NVIDIA hardware. Natural language processing, video feed analysis, and automation logic for its local features happen on the device. Your Jemm Arc data remains in your home, except as described in this section.
Audio clips, video feeds from integrated cameras, and appliance status processed by these local features are not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly request this for support or choose a feature that requires hosted processing.
The local-processing commitments for Jemm Arc do not mean that requests you submit to our hosted API are processed on your own device. Hosted API requests are transmitted to our inference infrastructure for processing.
2. Information We Collect or Process
- Local processing data: Jemm Arc may process audio, video, appliance status, routines, and related information locally to provide its features.
- Information you provide directly: We may collect your name, phone number, location, email address, and other information you provide when registering, managing an account, or contacting us at info@jemm.ai.
- Device and system metrics: With your permission, we may collect anonymized device telemetry, such as system temperature, uptime, and crash reports, to support the stability and health of Jemm Arc hardware.
- API content: Our hosted inference services temporarily process the inputs and outputs necessary to fulfill your request, subject to Section 3.
- Account and operational records: We may maintain account, billing, and limited technical records as described in Section 4.
3. Hosted Inference and API Content: Zero Retention and No Training
This section applies to inference requests processed by Jemm Tec LLC, whether submitted directly to our API or routed to our endpoints through OpenRouter.
"API content" includes prompts, messages, conversation history supplied with a request, images, audio, video, documents, tool arguments and results, and other submitted content. It also includes generated responses, completions, detections, and other model outputs.
We process API content solely to perform the requested inference and return the result.
We do not retain API content after the request has completed or terminated. API content is processed temporarily for the duration necessary to fulfill the request and is not maintained as a stored request history.
We do not record API content in application logs, access logs, analytics systems, error reports, or backups. We do not retain API content for debugging, abuse-monitoring datasets, or human review.
We do not maintain persistent prompt or response caches or reuse API content across requests after processing has ended.
We do not use API content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or otherwise improve our models or any third party's models. We do not sell, license, or share API content for those purposes.
If you separately send us content in a support email or support ticket, that correspondence is handled as support information rather than as an inference request. Please avoid including confidential API content in support messages.
4. Usage Metadata and Other Retained Records
Zero retention of API content does not mean that we retain no account or operational records.
We may retain limited metadata such as request identifiers, timestamps, model identifiers, token or image counts, processing duration, response status codes, and billing or account identifiers. We use these records to measure service usage, reconcile invoices, monitor availability and performance, and protect the service.
These records do not include prompts, uploaded content, generated responses, or copies or excerpts of API content. We do not describe account-linked metadata as anonymous.
We retain account information, support correspondence, billing records, and operational metadata only for as long as reasonably necessary for their stated purposes, applicable legal obligations, and resolution of disputes. These retention practices do not create an exception allowing us to store API content.
5. Requests Through OpenRouter and Other Third-Party Services
When you use OpenRouter to access a Jemm-hosted model, OpenRouter transmits the request to us and receives the response for delivery to you. Our commitments in Section 3 apply to our processing of that request.
OpenRouter operates independently and processes information under its own privacy policy and your settings or agreements with OpenRouter. Our policy does not govern information retained by OpenRouter, the application you use, or other tools or services you choose to enable.
Using OpenRouter does not authorize Jemm Tec LLC to retain your API content or use it for training.
6. Zero Data Monetization
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Our business model is based on hardware, software, and inference services, not data brokerage.
Your private routines, conversations, home layouts, and API content are treated as confidential information.
7. Microphone Privacy
Jemm Arc microphones listen for the designated wake word locally. Audio recording is disabled by default until the wake word is recognized on the device. You retain full control to physically or digitally mute microphones at any time.
This section concerns Jemm Arc microphone operation. Audio you intentionally submit to our hosted API is processed under Section 3.
8. Sharing of Information
We share information only in the following instances:
- With service providers, such as payment processors, solely to perform services on our behalf.
- With authorized integrators or builders when you grant them access to configure your system.
- To return inference results through OpenRouter or another service you used to submit the request.
- As required by applicable law or valid legal process.
Service providers processing API content on our behalf must follow the applicable confidentiality, no-retention, and no-training commitments described in this policy.
Legal disclosures are limited to information we possess or are legally required to provide. We cannot retrieve historical API content that we have not retained.
9. Your Choices and Requests
You may update your profile information and data-sharing preferences through the Jemm App or by contacting info@jemm.ai.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we retain, subject to applicable law. Because we do not retain API content, we cannot provide historical copies of your API prompts or responses.
You can delete your cloud account at any time, which will not affect the core local functionality of your Jemm Arc system.
For information held by OpenRouter or another third-party application, please contact that service directly or use its privacy controls.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information and restrict access to authorized personnel and systems. Our API safeguards are designed to prevent request and response content from being captured in persistent logs or backups.
For Jemm Arc, we offer air-gapped network options and end-to-end encryption for any remote access requests.
No system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or practices. We will publish the updated policy on our website and revise the "Last updated" date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
